Junk or Treasure

Yard sales, Swap meets, Craigslist, eBay, Etsy.

Yard sales are a great way for extra cash, whether you’re a seller or buyer this is a great way to spend a few hours on Saturday or Sunday morning.

If you have too much stuff, junk, furniture and things you don’t use, you can always sell some of these things for extra cash.

Hunting for a good deal at yard sales or swap meets can lead to some items that you might not find anywhere else. While this can be a hit and miss, you can find some bargains that you can sell on eBay or craigslist.

Use tech to your advantage, see something interesting? Take out your smartphone and do a quick search. How many are out there, what do they sell for and after fees is it worth it? We usually account for 20% of what an item is sells for in fees and shipping charges. This could vary for larger items so do your homework.

If you are a crafty individual give Etsy a try. Find something that you’re good at and can do in your spare time, a few hours a week. Seeing that this is a side hustle, I would not look at this for a consistent income.
